A Little Introduction!

My full name is Sydney Rae Dolger. My friends sometimes call me Sydney Ray of Sunshine as a joke because I am always smiling. I am someone who is very family oriented. My grandparents live around 8 blocks away, therefore I see them almost every day. I will usually run or walk my dog, Rari, to get there. I am adventurous, kind and always looking for a new challenge!

Favorite Class

AP Seminar was my favorite class at my time at Oceanside. It allowed me to engage in research on topics I genuinely wanted to learn more about. I studied the impact of domesticated animals on cortisol levels as well as the troubled teen industry.

A trip I recently took

I went to Portugal last summer and it sparked my adventurous spirit to see the world. I visited Porto and Lagos! We took tours such as kayaking the sea caves as well as trailing through the wilderness in Porto to swim in natural lakes.

My favorite memory

My favorite memory is going apple picking with my family when I was younger! We would pick around 30 apples and then proceed to bake everything apple for the next month. Apple pie, apple muffins, you name it, we made it!

Family tradition

Every year over February break my extended family and I take a trip to Duck Key in Florida. We go to celebrate my grandfather's birthday!
