My freshman year I ran into tryouts ready to show off the skills I had learned in club volleyball at Atlantic Volleyball Academy the year prior. After three days of tryouts I was told I made the varsity team as a little freshman. As the years rolled forward I evolved into the mentor I had my freshman year for the younger girls on the team. Volleyball taught me communication skills, teamwork and friendship.
